The first link I posted for fish tacos is a truck a stones throw from the border and it has the best Mexican seafood in the country and their hot sauce game is fire.

Only been to SD once, for work. Guy I was with said he knew a good place but then took us to this ultra-touristy place - outdoor dining - in Old Town, with strolling mariachi band and all. Food was mexi-american and meh. I assume most of the places being mentioned are mas autentico.
