Anybody go last night and care to share? Who was the special guest? Setlist?  Anyone going tonight?.

A little birdie told me Phil played with Chris Robinson last night.

Chris Robinson was the guest and the show kicked ass!

Chris left after Sugaree, I left at the end of Sultans....

Not surprised it was CR. Glad to hear it was a good time. One set?

Bomb threats vs. Phil bombs

The family band sounded fantastic. Ross and Graham have good interplay and sounded great. The kids are getting better and better and CR really ups the game. We had a lot of fun. Going back tonight and then Shoreline this weekend!

Thx for sharing, Woz. See ya at the shoe.

Dead & Co. played Next Time You See Me last night, too.

Two sets

Yes, two sets

>>2 sets<<

Sweet.

Had me wondering with the low priced tix.

Gotta pace oneself accordingly.

thx for the info

Have fun, buddy:)

Should be another fun night by the canal!

Looks like Chris is suckling on the ole GD nipple again!

Lots of Dead & Co pholks in town.

Is it CR again tonight?

Live audio stream sounds good.  No Chris that I can hear.

It's Berry Sless, nice!

Sounds like a good time

Hope everyone enjoys themselves

Oh yeah, love this tune btw:)

Dylan was such  a great artist.

Oh wow!  Sweeet!

I am really enjoying this

Thanks for the link

Oh course.  Share it all around!

That was DAMN good.

Oh yeah.

Yes it was definitely a rocker.

Phil was looking super stoked.

Great show last night!

You local TXR people get all the good shows :-)

Lance... Since you saw both Phil and the Family and Dead $ CO this weekend, how about a little compare and contrast...

It's not really fair to compare, as the events are so drastically different - a revolving but permanent residency in little rock hall packed at 400 compared to a huge professional rock 'n roll tour in 22,000 capacity sheds - but for me the Phil show with Sless joining the Family Band that I saw on Friday was WAY more musically satisfying than either D&C show.

I think Oteil is really great, Mayer is way better than I ever thought he could be, Bob Weir is still Bob Weir and there is something to be said for 100+ decibels from a big-time sound system, but if everything else were equal, Phil's bands have Phil and D&C doesn't have anyone nearly as brilliant, so I'm always going to choose Phil.

But that's just me.

Thanks for responding to an unfair question.

"Phil's bands have Phil and D&C doesn't have anyone nearly as brilliant, so I'm always going to choose Phil."

I'm always going to choose Phil too.
