If you're gonna choose one
If you're gonna choose one for the day, this one's as good as any.
An interesting time for me at this one for a couple reasons. First show in the rain & only the 2nd show I dosed at. Ate a sugar cube (never liked it like that). For about 15 minutes, it felt like the rain was leaving trails down my arm. Wild feeling. The music itself was just off the wall. Great Comes a Time, Tom Thumb's Blues & of course that monster Morning Dew. My favorite for a show I attended. Think one of Phil's amps gave it's all.
Another memory is a lot of folks without tickets.

I have a real hard time with
I have a real hard time with bad vocals, much more than I used to...lots of boards have way too loud vocals... I can't take the harmonies of the 60s and early Donna but I think she sounds pretty good 76 and on, which is most of what I listen to (well up to 91). But usually I binge listen the Dead then put them away for a few weeks or months
