Had a great free VIN checker bookmarked, but it disappeared in a browser update. Can't find it anymore.
So I'm looking to purchase this old Subaru wagon, and would like to research the history some.

Hüsky rode in the Subaru for the test-drive, and seemed to approve of the comfortable back seat.
However no fotos were snapped. Seller has an English Setter about 13 years old, and his Wife has a miniature Poodle.
Running the VIN over various search engines, I found an interesting record of a 'Bill Of Lading' saying this car was shipped from Greece to Port Newark about 10 years ago. That is a bit curious...
