It's never a good sign when Bob opens a second set with Lost Sailor.

No Salt Lake City?

Anybody know the attendance?

From the set list, glad I missed that one.

And the others.

damn, jm singing crazy fingers?

shit ain't right.

It was fairy packed - hot day- good crowd

Enjoyed it more than expected-once you get into the BW half step/half speed.

My one critique of the Mayer is his  guitar tone/timbre. Sounded weak most often- needed balls and more reverb.

And he needs some lessons on playing Chuck Berry - P Land was a cluster.

Otherwise I had a decent time- $20 ticket for the lawn - got out post drums so no traffic hassles (northbound ramp on 215 was closed from 2100 south -FUCK !)

Good to get out of the house.        Cheers.

Why? It is always the first question I ask.

Usually, there is a lil pre show buzz, thats all...

I agree, post show, its always first q...etc

Sick lights! Can't wait to see these guys again

just listening to a crappy iphone youtube video of Standing on the Moon. They should really let John Mayer sing this one... ouch

It's never a good sign when Bob opens a second set with Lost Sailor.))))))))))))))

I woulda said that in 1980 but I love hearing Sailor- Saint now. ... Sailor was shelved in 85 I think . I think b/c Bob's friend died in a boating accident. Anyway I loved it in AZ a few weeks ago

the Sailor >>Saint was good...and the Shakedown- drums were stellar

The show was pretty well-played but slow as hell. Kept waiting for a rocker but alas, ....another slow one.

I felt if Bobby had that much power over the setlist, we shoulda had a "Salt Lake City" or at least a FOTD.

During Row Jimmy, I said to my tempo-frustrated buddy "The only way this could get worse is if they follow it with "Masterpiece". They did.

A friend did some transportation work and said Mayer, his bodyguard , and his assistant,  flew out of California yesterday, were late arriving, and got a police escort from the airport to the venue, and flew back right after the show.

I thought the Drums was good but the Shakedown and the rest of the show could've used some pick me up for sure.

Glad I went. $20 for a lawn seat. Good folks, good vibes, good party, good music. What the hell.

My friend called it the worst "Dead" show he's ever seen, and he's seen lots.

Plenty of room on the lawn and later I got into the seated section without a problem. 300 section had open seats.

$20 and you can almost get in trouble for not going. It's usually good cardiovascular and you pick up a cool tye dye.

Now $120 is what Citi Fieild was asking for a seat with a view. I'm passing.

Nice photo Gunnar.

Lol. Exactly.

lol

Meh.  I've heard Bobby sing it.

That ain't right, either.

Nobody really wins in the race to the bottom.

Oddly enough, after I sent him the setlist, my very GD experienced friend who didn't like the show responded with "I liked Crazy Fingers. Oh, and Drumz. End of story".

My thought, too. I couldn't believe it (or didn't want to) after the slow first set.

Slick must remember- we were in WEST Valley City- not SLC -- Bob knew
