I really like the Bowman Brothers single barrels I've tried. Great stuff.

This place isn't going to be very interesting if it's all just shucks and gee wiz.

There are many characters I pretty much despised at the old place, but what I loved about the old place was how it was left wide open, pretty much as a wild west zone, and if I despised a character I'd scroll on by or click out of a thread.

There were always zoners who I would simply never engage or respond to, and if I opened a thread and it was started by any of them I would immediately click out, no matter the content or the conversation. It's easy to do and whatever my personal opinion of individuals, for me it feels better to know that the place is free & open, which means imperfect and sometimes ugly.

I think the possibility of bannings needs to exist, but they should almost never happen. There were only one or two characters that I would have looked to ban at the old place, and I hope that bannings are extremely rare here, not because everyone is always sweet potatoes but because I like the feeling of freedom. I'd rather have the place be dynamic, colorful & imperfect and do my own personal bannings rather than have the place be one-note and vanilla.

One of the reasons I came over here is because I've always respected how Judit could take trolling or nasty snark and respond but not snap at the bait, keeping her poise and letting things roll instead of flipping out.

I'm hoping this place will be allowed to roll a bit so it can truly rock.
