Long setlists.  Are they doing 5 minute versions of each tune or was each set 2 hours long?

Some clips from last night here: https://www.jambase.com/article/phil-lesh-terrapin-family-band-continue-...

Not super psychedelic, but pretty tight.

I guess last nights second set was over 2 hours 20 minutes.  I caught from Help> on and I haven't heard the Family Band sound better. The Ripple encore was upbeat.  Nice to hear it played like that.

the dishwasher stops playing his kit while he sings....lol.

straight up child's play. boring stuff from phil. damn.

almost a hundred to get in, too, correct?

Nice setlists.

I think I need to hear these.

On my list of stuff that happened this weekend (Panic, Hipster fest, DeadCo, Phil), the desire to hear this is pretty much dead last.

The Dew is actually very solid. Say what you will about Koford but he has pretty decent vocals. I thought he sounded much tighter on drums than usual. I listened to all the bands you listed this weekend besides Hipster fest and can honestly say what I heard from the Family Band was surprisingly more interesting to me.  I love Jimmy but find WSP boring, crowd looks fun. We'll see how they are tonight.

* / with Jimmy Herring.

I'd like to hear last night show with Jimmy Herring, any reviews?  That second set setlist looks sweet.

""""Herring"""" , now ya talking.

Clips of Jimmy with the TFB: https://www.relix.com/blogs/detail/watch_jimmy_herring_join_phil_lesh_fo...

I would 100% go see this band. Herring plays with more authority than just about anybody out there. Wish he'd come back to the Cap with Phil, even this lineup.

jimmy is the man.

he really makes it quite easy to tell there's only 3 pros on the stage.

Are there any sbds, like TXR thumb drives or downloads, available?

1) I wish Phil would play with Dead and Co., although Oteil is great.

2) I'm testing my new login.  I was darkczar on the old philzone.  This is my first post.  Hello Viva!

Hello darkczar.

I doubt #1 will happen as it would be core four.

Are you saying core four is off the table since they'd have to refund everyone who went to Fare Thee well?  I'd like to know why Phil won't play with them any more.  I've heard he has beefs with the drummers?  Maybe he prefers being the star, rather than "just" the bass player?  I can see that.  I guess, also, in LST he(?) mentioned that in stadium shows there's no interaction with the audience.  Maybe he prefers smaller venues?  The funny thing for me is I used to love seeing Phil, and burned out on Ratdog.  Ratdog doing "My Funny Valentine" at the Beacon, and bringing on lousy rapper kids at the Beacon were standout moments, plus the tempos were slow, and the sing-along aspect was annoying.  But after seeing Dead &Co at Citi Field I'm psyched for Oteil, and to see Dead & Co again, and less interested in seeing Phil anf the Family Band.  Their drummer can also have tempo issues, imho.

Phil doesn't want to tour. He's basically retired and only wants to play at home, plus a few one-offs. Plus, yes, he's not into playing giant stadium shows. Plus, yes, Phil and the RDs not on super friendly terms.

So, not gonna happen.

Got it.

Just watched/listened to Set II - not too shabby!

Also the TFB played on monday in denver:
