Safe travels.

Welcome to Albany,

Mr. G-Fish.

I'm in NYC for Phish shoes Friday & Saturday,  that might be a 2-3 hour train ride for you.

Show up and I'll buy you a Beer smiley

I bet those RRG's and Coyotte's are doing Fun stuff nearby your place.
I'm not allowed at Coyotte Compound again in 2017,  as the Hüsky chased the Clydesdales they raise,  last visit.  Stupid Dog. One hoofprint and  he'd be gone.

Have a Blast back East !!!

Welcome to Albany,

Mr. G-Fish.

Double Post to say "Welcome"  Twice.

alas, a road trip (rail trip?) to the Big Apple is not in the cards for me

And,

The Deadbeats are playing the Low Beat at 10pm

John Prine is playing the Palace Theater (in Albany), Friday, 7/28.

It's a huge deal. It's his only area appearance this year. It will be archived.

Tickets are still on sale.

(Other then Radio City, the Palace is the east coast's gem.

The best JGB show I saw was there, 11/4/81)

Trailhead, THANKS for the info!

Bluelight, I'm leaving Albany on 7/26 to return to NorCal, so unfortunately I won't be around to see John Prine

do either of you guys live in the Capital region?

No sir. I reside on Long Island.

I am also a resident of the long Island...

Wish I was closer Fish, hope your stay is a blast, if you find your way down to RI give me a shout

Hey Gary - Just reading up on this thread.  I'm heading down to NYC for the first three of my Bakers Dozen shows so will not be around. Scott is heading down for the weekend too.  I was just down in the Albany/Latham area today too - darn it.

bump for Zoners in the Albany area, for things to do thru this Tuesday

G-Fish =

Would be a Big Fun to visit with you in this Beautiful part of the Summer.  However I'm too lazy to drive to Albany.

Consider this -- if you can get some Wheels,  why not meet about 1/2 way in Harriman State Park  somewhere on the North Jerseyland / NY State border ??

About 4 hours for me to get to Albany, and 2 hours to that area,  which has various Lakes, Mtn. trails, hiking.  Could be a fun Swim with Doggy for a Day-trip.

So I'll put the Dog in the car for a morning,  if you can pick a cool spot there in the Ramapo mtns. or so forth.

Just a thought.  Another option would be Delaware Water Gap area, which also runs along Appalachian Trail.

Hüsky is at Dog-sitter until Sunday afternoon,  so Monday or Tuesday would be the day.

internationalfirewood (AT) geeeeemail etc.

Stu -- would be great to hang w/ you for a half-day and I appreciate your ideas for a way to make that happen

alas, I do not have a vehicle available and don't want to go thru the hassle & cost of car rental

however, I just received a very generous offer from a friend to attend the Rod Stewart & Cyndi Lauper show at SPAC tomorrow evening!

and, I will also be going to the JK Band show in Troy on Sunday night with my nephew -- and hopefully w/ Peglet!

so, it looks like I have a pretty full and fun weekend ahead!!

GFish, I'm glad some things are coming together! I love that Peglet may be in attendance; isn't she one of the ones.

Love.

Girls (and Guys) just wanna have fun!

Awwws i wanna have fun with this boy!!!
