Thanks for the warm wishes, everyone- appreciate it! I had a nice birthday week... got to see Max Creek on Saturday with a coworker and we had a lot of fun for their annual Thanksgiving show.
Sick show- my buddy from work had his mind blown.. great first show.
Life's going really well with work and everything- I started a new position in my company in January and couldn't be happier right now with everything going on with it.
I started taking music lessons again this summer and I'm in the middle of my teacher's Dad's 5 week bluegrass workshop where we meet on Saturdays from 12:30 - 4:30. The group consists of 4 mandolins, 2 banjos, 2 dobros, stand up bass and 2 guitars. Big range of ages and personalities- it's been a lot of fun and I've been blown away by the warmth of my teacher's Dad. Such a jovial guy and he's just so excited to be there with you- creating/playing/sharing.
Grabbed a Casio CDP-135 (digital piano) for my niece and she's now taking lessons with my teacher too haha. Very grateful and excited for the future.

I've had a few thread ideas that haven't materialized- think I might do a "Siobud's Musings" type thread where I riff on several things I got.
