After moving from the Bay a few years back, there are surprisingly few things I actually miss.

Jerry Day is one of them though. A rare spirit in the air.

FAT Music Radio will stream audio for Jerry Day @ 11AM ->

Did someone pull the plug? Had it before.

Slick, did you get it back? Sounds very sweet - wish I were there.

No luck. Don't know why.

Bummer.

Free Phish on XM/Sirius

Phish set 1 was fantastic....

Listened to all of the Jerry Day fest - nice DS by Stu and MH.

Fun time - Midnight North were fun and varied ending on a sweet Helplessly Hoping.

JGB jammed hard and they brought out Ron Holloway on Tenor Sax and Stu out for romp through Scarlet Begonias.

They played a bunch of GD not JGB  which was ok and unexpected.

Stu and Scott Law tore it up with JGB!

Thanks Treb, sounds good

Love Stu's guitar sounds great with Scott's

What a band

I need the name of the percussionist?
I know the traps guy - Jerry Saracini as well as Stu and Pete Lavazolli (drummer for JGB)....

https://youtu.be/LBLtKjgMrF0

Cochrane McMillan  - percussion.

Drummers with Stu were Jerry Saracini on traps, Cochrane McMillan on percussion. Pete Lavezzoli from JGB joined for Drumz with Pete and Stu both wailing on a big bass drum. Fun stuff. Scott Law was great in the mix. Very nice Dark Star. JGB did a nice version of Black Muddy River, sounded good with the soul sisters on backup vocals, gave it a more churchy feel. Great day all around. Midnight North sounded impeccable on Helplessly Hoping. Great weather, just a fabulous Jerry Day in the park. I love San Francisco.

It was...as always a great day with friends and awesome music at the Jerry Garcia Amphitheater. We all have help to build this into one of the coolest events anywhere that honors the memory of Jerry. The family is very proud of this event and what it represents to fans. It's a feel good story and we all look forward to next years Jerry Day in McLaren Park. Tom Murphy, the promoter and wheels behind this event and his team are top notch folks. I had a blast yesterday!

Good vibes on a beautiful day, and there's still some community left in the old town.
