I just dialed the number and it now appears to be some type of farming and agricultural organization. Something about big cocks and am I looking for big cocks and things I would do if came across big cocks.

Pretty weird. I almost hung up.

Way late to this thread, but here is a small glimpse of my refrigerator door.

I had that same Merl and Jerry pic.

Hey Ken! Our Jerry and Merl pic was purchased at a Rainforest Band show in the early 1990's in CBus. Pic was signed by the merch guy who claimed he was the pyrotechnician onstage in the GD Movie.

The dollar at the lower right was signed twice by Merl that same night.

The pen largely failed both times, but both autographs are discernible.

I don't have a 900-run-dead, but I do have some other custie stuff on my fridge.

Those needle marks read like Dylan's Christmas lights... I'm sure there is a message in there

> Dylan's Christmas lights

I'm probably going to be in Santa Monica this weekend, and might need to take a drive up the coast to Point Dume to check out Zimmy's lights.

I understand the hedge and fence have burned that he used to put lights on but there may or may not be a new display, possibly a nativity even.... please report back your findings!

really tatters? that's really nice of you man.

When was that 900 number valid? I can almost remember the Dead hotline number in the 80's.

415 457 6388. I have a story about calling that number in the late 80's Touch years.

Ok so I called that # and Mickey's voice was telling the dates of upcoming dates. I swear he was doing it live and in the moment. It sounded too clear to be a recording. At this time I was getting over them fast because of their huge success, so I'm listening and mumbling stuff like, yeah give us your money suckers. Anyways I called right back because I just knew he was doing it live for jolly's and being a prankster. I called back many times over a period of time and there was no answer when I called. No message to hear.  I just know that Mickey's ego was deflated and they made a new message.

"PO Box C, as in cigar, S as in Sam...."    "We do not go by the AM or PM postmark"

There was a huge snowstorm on the mail in date for the Spring '87 Tour, gave us an extra day or two to get them in the mail.

I used to divide up the tours with 2 other heads, each of us would take a stop and call the 900# for the set lists.

Never once called the 900# never met anyone who did. We got our setlists from Duprees Diamond News. Or at the end of the year with a band member picture on the front and that year's set list on the back

A distant cousin is Bob's neighbor in Malibu. The fire wiped them out but spared Bob's house.  They don't consider him a good neighbor. Bob put in a porta potty near the gate for his security guard at the entrance to his driveway. They neighbors were not pleased.

Relatives buy me custie merch:

still have some duprees lying around somewhere

Relix used to publish the set lists too.  David Gans' weekly radio program would often play the highlights from recent shows.

Mikel had a small handout of a few pages that had the setlists on it. Have one from 82 I got maybe at a Jerry show in 82.

Those calls ran up the phone bill pretty fast when the band was touring.

East Coast number was (201) 777 - TOKE

whatever ## that spelled out.

something like "8653" I  believe.
