Boy this sure is a fun one. The West LA into the cowboy tunes and the Bertha ender is quite the first set. I really love the extended lyrics of West LA and wonder why Jerry cut them out later. Anyway great show. Anyone there that night?
Yeah, I flubbed pretty much everything on this post. I was referring to Deal not Bertha and it was on 10/9. Sorry but still a great show and right now am closing up 10/10/82 and looking forward to the Its All Over Now Baby Blue ender. Must have been a fun two days.
I attended these shows with my soon to be wife and little brother.

October 10 was a show were I had way too much way too fast. By the second set I was seeing whirling space and having difficulties remaining in my body, and was in a panic. Then I heard Jerry sing "you're still by my side" and his voice was like a beacon showing my way back out of the chaos. Even so, I discovered I had lost my ability to speak and it took a few hours before it returned. I was worried it would not return. We really could party like fools back then. Sometimes it got scary, but, hey, good times!
