Such pause given when watching those old videos.

They were so young, so full of talent and everything in front of them.

And now we know how they turn out.

All thing considered pretty darn well, but all things get old.

No matter how brilliant.

It's a lesson.

Wonder what kind of 1965 gig it was for Joni. Bunch of guys on stage watching her but not smiling.

Guessing that Weir heard that tune from Joni

>>but all things get old.

"Wild things run fast..."

Phil's Get Together from New Jersey blows that away

Like ths version from another one that's gone...

What a shitty piece of music Thom, Its like I can't get the taste of it out of my mouth

Please do not post anything from America next

It was like a shit sandwich without the bread

john phillips wrote the tune but weir did not hear of that tune from joni or phillips. funny story is that phillips didnt even remember writing the tune until the royalty checks starting coming in.

He said "Every time I get one of those checks my memory improves just a bit".

Here's Judy Collins' version. Hers was the first one I heard back in the day. As a young man I was intrigued when she sang "It bein' summer, I took off my shirt". Yee-hah!!!

Phillips was supposedly in a drunken stupor when he wrote or played  it on the spot in a Arizona motel after a gig -with a few heavies in the room with him.

Judy Collins had a tape recorder and kept the tape- the rest was history.

Hey Junk.

If you post a third time it might just be true.
