Well gang, the time has come. It has been an honor serving as your 2015 ZOTY. Representing the very best this community has to offer has been a truly humbling experience, and one I will always cherish.
There are many worthy candidates this year. We had strong thread contributions from Chance and Buncombe. Jim Reardon established himself as the Zone's most prescient prognosticator with his unparalleled work during the NBA Finals. A couple of Zoners made strong cases for Lifetime Achievement ZOTY.
It might seem too obvious; but I believe a rare group ZOTY should be awarded to Lava, Judit, and Davey for their work in building the community a new home here.
Never in the history of the prestigious ZOTY award has a group been nominated and won.
Please cast your vote for the 2016 ZOTY. Votes will be tallied over the next week, and the 2016 ZOTY will be announced next Friday at 2 pm MDT.

I'd just like to thank everybody for their patience here. This has been an unusual year, and I know people are feeling pretty run down by the entire process.
Over the past several days, the ZOTY team has been investigating the situation in Utah, and we've made some determinations. Slickrock's single ZOTY vote has been stricken from the voting tally. I can't get into much detail, but we do have evidence of voter fraud, voter intimidation, and acoustic man balladry. Merrell footwear may also be involved.
We've also had some difficulty tallying the 727 votes Judit submitted for the entire VLZ community. I believe we're close to resolving that issue, and we are working to ensure that everyone gets a trophy. You're all special little snowbongs, and we appreciate you.
Given these issues, we're planning on a recount to be completed sometime this week. We'll continue to beat the living shit out of this dead horse, and keep you all updated as things progress. Thanks.
