2022 Ky Derby

Forums:

I went to Golden  Gate Fields today & as usual I bet a favorite to show. I put $400 to show on Epicenter, #3, & I was paid $1,040.00.

A good day indeed.

I only make 1 bet a year, The Ky Derby, & only bet a favorite to show. I made $ for 5 years in a row until Baffert showed his butt.

Neither of his horses paid today.

He had another trainer enter them in his name this year.

Taiba came in 12th & Messier came in 15th.

Race was WOW just WOW

Great Job Jim >> See U  Sat.

Go Crabneesh, wow!

Nice ticket, after last years Derby I was really turned off and didn't pay any attention this week to the race. The first time I didn't bet on the derby since the 90's.

Got good and stoned drove down to this local tavern for dinner. A right turn would take me to the casino to bet. I had the sheet in my pocket. My wife says save your money.

Glad I did, what an upset. Believe me, I didn't have number 21 on my sheet. 163 dollars winner on a 2 dollar ticket is amazing

Nice hit brother. There's a small Kentucky track 45 minutes from my home and Rich Strike got smoked there last summer. Then turns around and wins the biggest horse race in the world lol. Unreal.

It'll be interesting if he passes the post-race drug test. He literally got into the Derby less than a minute before the deadline. After the race he was pretty much attacking the pony during the cool down. Took a chunk out of it's neck. It was quite an awkward sight.

The trainer lost a bunch of his horses to a barn fire not long ago so it was really cool to see him win. I hope the drug test comes back clean. It's been a major problem in the industry.

Overhead view of the last minute of the race. Pretty amazing. Horse looked like it had a rocket it it's ass in the final stretch.

Yeah, amazing how it overtook them. Sorry I didn't go to Evanston, WY to bet. 90 miles away. Don't bet often, but the Derby with 20 horses can get ya some winnings.

I heard Kentucky Derby winner Rich Strike turned down a meeting with Trump. Asked why, they said “If I wanted to see a horse’s ass, I would’ve came in second!” wink

Damn. That was impressive. Jockey threaded a few needles there.
