A comet hit Jupiter during a kick ass outdoor Phish show on a ski slope in Sugarbush Vermont.   Very best Phish show I ever saw coming just days after the very worst Grateful Dead show I saw (Highgate).   Jesus was in the house.

how come they never play Runaway Jim no more?

^they got tired of it too

>>>how come they never play Runaway Jim no more?

They played it twice in 2017, but looking at the stats, its certainly a rarity in recent years compared to the days of old:

Much like poor heart

Was mainly out West in OR for Phish 1994 shows.

Those are a couple I caught and had Great seats in 1994.  2600 - 3600 seat venues,  more intimate compared to MSG or the like.

One in Autumn 1995 at Spokane Opera House;  long drive from Coast Range OR.  Think there was a Portland show I attended also in that time frame.

I think in 1992 they played the (tiny) WOW Hall in Eugene,  but I did not attend.  Listening back to old recordings,  1991-> 1994 are my favorite Phish years.  They really developed as a tight ensemble with a large repertoire in that era.

I was at that show tabling for an environmental organization.  We had two people working the table so we could switch off and run in and see the show.
