Nice jam to open...

Looks like youre all set, fog

pretty good quality on the stream.

nnjimmy is probably at Jrad ,  good audio on the mixlr link

I think Phil gave them a pep talk.

....and not a bad couch...pass the chips, mike

Get four tv s on college hoops, one on phil...one ready for jrad on break and later, and we all set...

Right now, im just listening on mixlr and watching vermont try to upset purdue

Thanx 707.

sleepy tempos...

for real , and some here say Weir is the slow one these days. This 1/2 step is at a crawl. Stll, I always love the sing along;

Should we wake turtle, or paint his face?

Good lovin...i think its  time for a jrad peak...

Is Stanley playing or watching?

"Stanley Jordan has strong thighs."

thanks guys. i dunno tho. buffers

4 tvs?

JRAD killing it

havent tuned in Cap yet

damn I miss Russo playing around here more

Beast is correct

While I am sure that I would have enjoyed my time at the show, I am not feeling as though I am missing out on much.  Switching over to JRAD.

What non GD oldies medley is Stanley doing tonight?

Oteil because Drewitz in Chicago w/ Ween now?

Im stuck on jrad and vermont purdue...the 4 tvs was just wishful thinkin for march madness and two concert streams

russo is terrific and this is very high energy and fresh...maybe the guitars not so much my style tho.

Glad to see Cosmic Charlie out of the way before friday.

That Rhodes sounds awesome

Wish I didn't jump ship for Shakedown but here we are.  Tough life

Posted by "intheaudience" on a stream :

Set I The Golden Road (To Unlimited Devotion) (JK), Samson and Delilah (JO), Althea (JO), Mississippi Half-Step Uptown Toodeloo (PL), Good Lovin' (JK, JO), Dire Wolf (JK), Cosmic Charlie (all)..

Set Break at 9:41 pm ET

sounded nice here, not too much buffering. Enjoying a nice batch of Calamari from my favorite local Italian place.

Nice

just missed the first set

how was it ?!

^

Ro,

THe Calamari was delicious, as usual.  A bit different take compared to the batch we tasted at PC back when.

Same traditional style with marinara and lemon slices, but these guys have a very nice Panko breading and maybe larger tentacle cross-sections.

They make another Calamari version with Hot Cherry peppers, sliced Garlic and a white sauce,  which I've not tried yet. Might be a bit too spicy for the Dog.

JRAD

yesyesyes

Uncle Johns

Nice interplay between Crosby and Jordan in this UJB.

So I let H.I.M. in at setbreak and served a tasty bowl of Dog Food.  He was out napping in the Snow-bank after his Dusk bike ride, 4 miles today. A bit short, but that trail is all Ice today. Good for the Dog, but I got no traction, braking or turning ability. Great conditions for a wreck.

Now he can smell the Calamari and knows I'm holding. Maybe he'll get a chunk or two tomorrow wink

But about this set;  How about the 'SOTR' in this spot ?!?

Interesting stuff.

That was beautiful ~

Turtle likes this Stones tune.  He talks about the late night Vegas one a lot.  When Jimmy jumped ship.

sup bobber?

ps stanley just showed catboy how to solo during death don't...

I liked that fat tone Jordan used in Death Don't.

Hey turts...  Im up too late watching this.  Too many solos Turtle with this band for me.  Not enough group groove.

Catboy is hanging in there.  I worry he'll be winded by the pricey Friday shoe though.  They may need a special guest.

Roll away...

why do new yorkers stand still vertical?

also who is the drummer?

They keep showing the drummer.  Sickening.

why? he's doing fine.

how do you like joan's dress bobber?

Drummer looks like Tons.

Is this show male only?

Jordan breaks out the dress tomorrow. Does that help?

maybe my mind space tonight but I thought they were missing ANY type of X Factor the whole show except for franklins and i hate that song after 200 versions..............sound probs they were not able to make the whole out of many parts..............but I was on the couch tour not in the room........................

last night was different animal all together..............

I enjoyed last night's (3/15) deconstructive Other One jam and the quirky, uptempo Sugaree.  Interesting placements of the SJ jams here & there.

Overall last night was a paid rehearsal, with some interesting stuff..typical for a 3-night Cap run with an odd batch of Phriends,  unrehearsed.

I guess tomorrow gets the Dark Star ; St. Stephen; Alligator type sets... and that Stella Blue.

Maybe the WRS if we're Lucky ??

Today (3/16) was the first day in a few where it was above Freezing for a few hours, long enough to clean the ice-sheet off the truck, scrape most of it outta the bed, and work on the iced-over luge driveway. Got up to 38 at peak warmth.

It's nice to listen to these sets, but I'm not going to download recordings for keeping around.  I really liked the SJ raging solo in Death Don't Have No Mercy.

That was Cool!

Encore:
Going Down the Road Feelin' Bad

i think they should add a rhythm guitarist tonight

When I checked in - Phil's tempos were in Bobby territory. WTF is going on?

it's a thrown together band w/ little to no rehearsal, sj doesn't know dead, jk is all over the place, the drummer is lost, joan being asked to sing like its 2006 again, and phil is 77.

definitely not a good recipe, imo....and it's showing.

Tonight, they do the high cool

JK was terrible lastnight  whole first set he was so loud i couldnt hear phil stanely or joan sing on the floor.

Where are those special guests to be announced?

^ yeah rite on

"...Where are those special guests to be announced?.."

I heard tonight, they're bringing in Yanni and Fabio.

From what I'm reading I'm glad I checked out two verses into Althea.

I thought it was an enjoyable show. Rough around the edges, tepid at times,  but some tasty morsels throughout.

 I love Phil.

I've got an extra floor for tonight (3/17) in case anyone is in need. 415.601.6440 cel.

Caught some video replay last night.  Full audio tonight.

UP to the encore now.

More SJ in the future, please!

and...

What's the opposite of ". . . grows on you"?  'Cuz that's where I'm at with JK.  The guitar is tolerable but the vocals are more irritating all the time. YMMV.

Fun Times at the Cap

Had the utmost pleasure of meeting Gilman (!!!) This night

For almost the first time evah, socializing was of higher importance than parts of the show~ lots of pholks were only in for that night, so i wanted to be with them. It was the absolute wise decision (:

Great great great pix, Dave!
