I heard Truckin and OMSN like everyone else as some older guys from Hobe Sound asked if I wanted to ride to WPB and see the dead.
We took some purple mico dots as we pulled into the parking lot. The West Palm Beach auditorium had a 20 foot wide and 3 foot deep moat around the whole building, almost like an original lazy river, and there were these Jesus lookin hippies and naked chicks swimming and bathing in it. WTF???
I was 16 and never imagined anything like this in WPB.
The purple barrels were taking hold when I recognized CC Rider as an Elvis song my parents played and by second set they played truckin and OMSN. I was hooked.
The people, the dance and the dosage.
Good times.

Really T?
Really T?
From what I heard up at UVA 9/14/82, this was by far the best show of the year up until that point.
Pretty sure that Dupress was played & that's a fun fun song.
I was going to go that show & fly down, but drove most of the tour, starting out in Va.
An obvious critical juncture in your life T; the band was on fire.
You gave me enough imagery & enough to contemplate...
