Looks like you could cop a pretty nice first Japanese pressing for around $150

I have the Japanese press, think it's a better listen than the UK. Plus it's a beautiful gatefold

I am both glad and not-so-glad that I never got into collectiong different pressing of records. I learned a long time ago that I can be addicted to just about anything, so I always need to be careful what I get into to. That being said, I see some tubes in that photo. Care to share what that is? My guess is the rest of your rig is not boring either. :)

I've got a somewhat recent reprint of this on 180g vinyl, sounds great, but not gatefold. It's a fantastic couple of records, but the opening track takes the cake.

Recently picked up an original copy of Sandanista in NM condition. It's such a great (and long) listen. It lacks some (most) of the raw punk energy of London Calling, but it's an altogether more musically refined affair. Can't stop listening.

Hi Tony, yeah it's def a wormhole....Mostly mid fi stuff I've worked on/upgraded myself. So the tube amps in the pic are heavily modded MK3 monoblocks, basically from the chassis irons and transformers up have been upgraded. Lovely KT88s have beautiful glow....and sound!

They are driving Klipsch Cornwalls currently and serve as my main vinyl rig.

I've been working out the bugs on a Bottlehead preamp that will hopefully replace the Opera Consonance pre I'm running now(although it's a solid pre on its own).

The other amp running is a ST70 Dynaco, mostly stock with a Dynaco PAS3 pre that is driving the smaller Klipsch as my digital rig.

The older speakers in the pic are Dynaco A25 and are used with my Fisher 500B, run from my desk so I can control while talking to patients. This Fisher was purchased new by my Dad and I've been listening to it since childhood. It's still one of the most satisfying amps to listen to, a lifetime of listening mojo built up in that chassis

In a stroke of perfect timing, someone brought in 8 boxes of mostly Promo radio station copies of records to sell to me yesterday, including a White Label Promo of London Calling.

Nice !! I have a nice US Epic promo copy but just a first press with stamped jacket and label
