Thanks, Judit for deleting the duplicate thread, phew. I'm out of practice, LOL.

Here's another 3-nighter at the Balboa Theater, same lineup all 3 nights but different band names

It would be nice to see some of you heads at Jerry Day. Looks like that will be the extent of my GD60 participation.

Poor Donna. She's getting totally shut out of all this.

So in her honor, I present this salute...

I kid, I kid Donna Jean, because I'm actually a fan.

While "caterwauling" could describe some of her contributions to the band, she also provided a subtle, gentle, groovy dynamic to the band during the time when they WERE subtle, gentle and dynamic.

And BTW, whatever one may think of her, she was in the band during most of their very best years.

So there's that.

LLTGD!!!!!!

So while this doesn't really belong here...But I think this is the right crowd for this fest in Georgia.   Check the line up, then check the prices.   Note the prices are on sale right now.

I'm glad all the musicians are working but sadly dismayed that not one concert, live stream or afterparty is advertised as a Rex benefit or fundraiser.

I guess Mayer is blocking any calls from Wavy's number.

Same here, Roarshock.  See ya there!

@Alan --  The Heart of Town poster says that a portion of proceeds will benefit the REX Foundation.

Heart of Town Update -- because I realized that the link I posted above points to the wrong news, sorry about that!

Discover the inside story of Jerry Garcia and the Grateful Dead from filmmaker Len Dell’Amico, joined by music journalist Dean Budnick.

Hear firsthand stories of Jerry Garcia and the Grateful Dead from filmmaker Len Dell’Amico, one of the few non-band members welcomed into their inner circle. Dell’Amico directed and produced iconic concert films and music videos for the band from 1980 to 1995. His memoir, Friend of the Devil, offers an intimate portrait of Garcia’s artistry, generosity and the creative energy that defined an era.

Dell’Amico has worked with artists such as Linda Ronstadt, Ray Charles and Carlos Santana. His longstanding collaboration with Jerry Garcia led to major projects including So Far, “Hell in a Bucket,” and the band’s first national pay-per-view concert. He continues to work in film and lives in Marin County.

Budnick, editor-in-chief of Relix, author of Ticket Masters and co-writer of The Music Never Stops, joins filmmaker Len Dell’Amico for a conversation about art, access and the lasting impact of the Dead. Budnick’s work spans books, film, podcasts and journalism, all focused on the culture of live music.

Books will be sold by our friends at Borderlands Books, with a signing to follow.

This event is part of San Francisco’s citywide celebration of Jerry Day, honoring the life and legacy of Jerry Garcia.
