Amazing Hüsky Tale...

So New Year's Eve day (12/31/16 back in the States) I decided to give the Hüsky a bath. A chain pet store called "PetValu" has Dog-sized tubs with nice warm water, hypoallergenic Dawg shampoo, all the towels you could ever want, and an industrial-strength blow dryer. They even have rubberized aprons to keep the human dry.
It's ten bucks, and the staff cleans up after you, although I did scoop the Dog-hair out of the drain and mopped up the area with a towel.
Hüsky was a bit reluctant at first, not wanting to hop into the tub. I had to lift H.I.M. in there, and attach the conveniently-located restraining strap to his collar. After a while of spraying his fluffy coat with the Garden-Hose sprayer, he decided it was OK. The Oatmeal-Aloe Vera shampoo made his Fur look sleek and shiny.
Actually, he was really not all that stinky to begin with. The Hüsky is a breed proud of its cleanliness. He enjoys swimming in Ponds, Lakes, Creeks, Rivers & Streams but is a bit scared of swimming pools. Maybe it's the chlorine?

It really happened. After the Dawg Bath, I visited a Zoner in Pennsylvania, and Hüsky socialized there, meeting the house Dawg and consuming said House-Dawg's rawhide treat.
Alas, I have no photographic evidence of this incident. But he was very well-behaved and was a Good Boy !!
The house Dog was a bit intimidated by the presence of H.I.M. But they got along, and put their differences aside.

However, he enjoys digging in Mud, and then jumps up on the HuPerson bed.
A New-Year cleansing was just what the doctor ordered.

I think their corporate base is in Canada. Whatever, they have the DIY bath spots, ten bucks with free Towels and the powerful blow-dryer.

So many people are upset that
So many people are upset that they are without an intelligent, hard-working multicultural Animal, yet they can barely make Toast.
The Hüsky is a time-consuming pet. My ability and effort in raising this Fine Hound has produced a Canine which is welcome just about anywhere.
It was a big learning curve; I spent time and money with obedience school (Ho - Ho - Ho) and Hüskies don't listen. They understand what you say, but don't give a Hoot.
Now, I have a Hound who(m) is my best Pal and encourages me to get much more exercise than I really need.
Besides all that, He is a Chick Magnet.
