I thank my parents for how I was raised and how much our journey matters  (I even wondered if I had somehow failed raising my kids-that they would not be moved as I was.  but it was a different time and place and my family was very political And into civil rights activism- my brother crossed that bridge in Alabama)

juxtaposed to the ability of the current POTUS to communicate or stay on point it is mind boggling
