I'm catching him at The Cap the night after the last Phil birthday show, anyone seen him live? Thinking it might be a nice counterbalance to the Phil show(s), a good way to decompress.

Lee is indeed a great way to decompress. 

I wouldn't say he's boring, but he is very mellow. 

I saw him three times opening for Merle and Bob back in 2005.

He can be pretty mellow.

Ist saw him at the Beacon open for Merle and Bob on that 2005 tour.

Also enjoy his buddy Mutlu who often opens for him.
