Anora

Best movie I've seen in a long time but glad my wife picked it out especially if you watched the series Better Things where the star of Anora, Mikey Madison played a teenage daughter and she plays a sex worker in this movie.

So lot's of sex in this movie not like most movies today. I have no problem with women standing up for themselves and it was obviously a big problem before and still is, but what drives me crazy is how so many directors haven't adapted and still show sex scenes with fully clothed people. If you watched movies from 2017 to 2025 you would think women never have sex topless. Just don't have a sex scene in a movie if you can't depict it like it really happens. I even saw one show where they have the obligatory strip club scene so they can show some nudity but even the strippers where fully clothed. 

Anyway Anora is great on so many levels and Mikey Madison steals the show. This is a break out star on the rise movie.
