Another Redefining of Terms

The other day my new fat tire bike was delivered. As I was putting on the front tire I noticed that there wasn't a quick release lever, which was both advertised and in the instructions.

I emailed the manufacturer, and their response was, "you have the new style of quick release that uses an Allen wrench to tighten."

What the fuck is that? By definition, "quick release" means "no tools needed," which I nicely let them know. They're sending me out an "old style" quick release with the lever.

Sometimes you just have to shake your head.
