Any Bart Friend 's Around?

Forums:

I need help with a GD vinyl identity.I just posted on the"Music Only" site with my question.

Not sure what's what!

If anyone has a idea, much appreciated.I am slowly getting things from Bart/Henry 's collections labeled and priced for next year's selling.

Tough to tell without listening to them. Sounds like a single concert booted across three discs.

If you can hammer down what year the performance is from, you'll be able to narrow it down. Best thing to do would be to take them for a spin.

Hi Be Nice. Much love.

Maybe "For dead heads only" cap theater 78? It was three disc set in black box. good luck

I hope you figure it out Be Nice,

The first "bootleg record" we all listened to

was a 3 record set of the Farewell to Winterland concert

The Box had Jerry on the front toasting with a big glass.

Labels were all plain white, with no writing.

Remember the "Make Believe Ballroom" bootleg vinyl set  from 1975?

There was another one I encountered in the mid 70s with a blue cover. It had song titles listed, one of which was "Tuneful Jam". Poss. Winterland?

There was a vinyl bootleg of Englishtown that came in a white box. Good luck. Sometimes there are clues etched in the blank band of vinyl near the label.

Thanks Everyone, and Fly you are probably correct. "For Deadheads only" Cap theater.I will get confirmation soon from a friend taking it for a spin. There's a set on Ebay.....looks like Bart lost a paper label, with Jerry on the front of the black box of the 3 vinyls.Kind of fun doing research for all of his 'stuff'.I am only a Deadhead by Marriage.

Judit very Cool that you kept your napkin! He so loved you all.
