Pharoah Sanders IS old, but are you sure you're not thinking of Ornette Coleman?
Ornette Coleman is still dead, though his band has made some appearances in the last few years, Hardly Strictly among them.

Not exactly, though. Marc Ribot is playing in guitar, where Bern Nix was handling most (all?) duties in that chair of the Prime Time funk/punk band.
I did get to see Mr. Nix play a few weeks before he died, last year. Crazy shit, like watching someone... play math.. with their guitar.
As far as festivals go, this lineup is okay.
Pharoah Sanders played maybe the best show I saw last year, so cool that he's gonna have a nice comfy paid date like this. Dude is the man.
