Autzen Stadium and Beer

Forums:

Anyone know if there will be beer for sale inside Autzen for the Dead Co concert? During football games, they don;t sell beer but instead they let you leave at halftime to head back to your vehicles. This will be the first concert there in over 20 years, so anyone know the policy? This has serious planning implications.

Just hire a drug mule.

whizzinator?

>>>>>>>>>>During football games, they don;t sell beer

there is an ncaa rule that prohibits the sale of alchohol at any of their sporting events

whizzanator is a good idea, I was thinking a plastic flask shoved underneath my belt with liquor in it would work, but I would rather buy beer inside if possible. Also, being able to leave at set break like you can do at halftime during a football game would be cool. Can't find these details with an on line search.

We used to have a zoner who had his mom carry his drugs in at Red Rocks shows.

^^^^i think i remember reading that before... prescription pills if I recall.

portable flask such as flask2go or a wineskin. my guess is that there will be beer sales. they wont pass up that much cash. call the university and ask.

Maybe go 3 hours without a drink?

>>there is an ncaa rule that prohibits the sale of alchohol at any of their sporting events

that simply isn't true, unless it's a rule just made very recently. link please.

most of the college stadiums/arenas I've been don't sell alcohol, but it's not unheard of or illegal.

and such a rule wouldn't apply anyway to a concert at the stadium, that's still the school's call.

You can just do what we did in college and soak a bunch of grapes overnight in Everclear.   We called them the "grapes of wrath."

Speaking of colleges and drinking, I was just at my son's graduation at New Mexico State and saw that their official fight song contained the following stanza glorifying drinking to excess:

"And when we win this game,
We’ll buy a keg of booze,
And we’ll drink it to the Aggies
‘till we wobble in our shoes!"

Call the venue?

I’m sure they’ll have beer.

what the hell does it even matter? There’s gonna be so much acid, beer, weed etc, fucking everywhere before & after the show.

youll be hard pressed to stay sober in Eugene this weekend.

good luck everybody!

Not sure about beer, but I know they'll have a floor...   here's a set up shot;

What the fuck is one to do? I cant get off till I stage dive to OMSN

We changed up OMSN eons ago, after the big chromatic build up towards the end, we substituted in Elton John's "Saturday nights all right for fighting" chorus, quite the crowd pleaser!  (wonder if I have a tape somewhere?)

No ammo, drugs or marijuana? I'm out.

At least on one of my visits to that fine stadium I got to see Bobby destroy a guitar....

We sent him a postcard of Pete Townshed when we got home. Fun times.

All that go, have a blast!

Not going without my totem, brah!

Can you still buy drugs on 13th Street?
