Public service for those who revere Barry Sless, he'll be washing dishes with the Terrapin Family Band at the Guild in Menlo Park on Friday May 16th.
Depending on the guest/s, the TFB is actually pretty solid these days, and Sless should be the lead guitarist for most of that show.
I already had a ticket because it's close to home and I'll know half the crowd and most of the band, but Sless should get things going pretty good.

I'm sure he'll play some steel, but it's not Phil's band anymore and Graham will be the only other guitar player, or RMFJ when Graham switches to bass, so I'd expect Sless to get quite a bit of time on guitar.
On the down side, since Sless doesn't sing that means most of that will go to Graham & James. Alex Koford may be a tippy-tapper on drums, but he's a good singer so hopefully he'll do more of that.
I don't expect this one to be mind blowing, but it should have some good moments and will be easy good fun, and it's nice for us in the South Bay to not have to drive an hour+ for once.
Just a little rock 'n roll, that's all I ask.

It is possible to take the train to The Guild, it's practically across the street from the station... I attended a Guild show that way, but I also stayed the night nearby and flew home the next day.
