Ben Folds Presents Declassified

I just watched this music documentary on PBS and was quite blown away.  I believe the show is called 'Next at the Kennedy Center'  and it is season two episode 4.  It basically documents Ben Folds bringing young musical talent to the National Symphany Orchestra (NSO) and marrying Pop, Jazz, Folk, etc. with full scale orchestration. I've heard of this model before and never paid it much attention, but the artists I just watched were f'ing amazing. This young musician Jacob Collier stole the show imo, but everybody was great. The last cut has Jacob acting as conductor leading the whole audience it what sounded like a traditional Scottish folk song . It was just jaw dropping great. The whole 55 minutes is so worth it. I've never followed Ben Fold closely, but have always liked what I've heard of him.  After watching this documentary, I'm extremely impressed with his musical mastery and force in developing this music he is calling 'Declassified'
