Oregon Fests in July!

Portland > BluesFest over July 4 weekend (downtown on the river, largest blues fest west of the Mississippi) http://www.waterfrontbluesfest.com/

North Plains > www.stringsummit.com (Jamgrass campout at the infamous Horning's Hideout)

Veneta > Oregon Country Fair, the mothership.... many bands play throughout the weekend. http://www.oregoncountryfair.org/

>>>>North Plains > www.stringsummit.com (Jamgrass campout at the infamous Horning's Hideout)

Best Fest in the West.   Great music, beautiful forested location, and excellent size (c. 5,000).   Big enough that there is always something going on, but very manageable.

Are the Llobregats going to NWSS this year?

hey Ken! ready for snow again this week?

Mr. LLOLLO will likely go to NWSS, but I already have tickets for RRE / Leftover Salmon / Keller & the Keels at Red Rocks and Boulder, and those dates overlap. Doing a Thelma and Louise roadtrip w/ my bestie via Utah.

Are you going?

I try to go every year, but lately I have ended up actually going every other year.   I skipped it last summer and went to Phish at the Gorge instead, so I am due for a NWSS this year.  And no, I am not ready for more snow, but its not like I can do anything about it.  I bet your neighborhood has been awful getting in and out.

I've always been partial to the Northwest String Summit and Horning's Hideout. That place is built for tripping.

Cool. I like the every-other-year NWSS plan.

Doesn't look like we'll get much snow this week.... yes, we are at 500ft elevation and got over a foot... snowed in for a week....but I had the flu, so all good.

The entire state of Oregon is built for tripping!

Rain, sleet and freezing rain predicted for Eugene later this week. I'm hoping for rain.
