I just listened to the speech.  I am also a proud American today.

President Biden took no quarters.

It was a powerful speech, but I can't help but wonder why he didn't give a speech like this at his inauguration.

This administration does have flaws and can't fix every one of the multitude of problems in this country. But what he said today was needed. Strong message. 

VP Harris did great also. Props to the speechwriters. Nailed it.

That was quite a speech delivered describing the animals following directions of the beast they worship. Thanks for the acknowledgment of the single greatest liar to roam aimlessly through our White House in our history. We’re all clear on what happened a year ago. Are you okay with Jan 6 a year later or do you still believe the lies being told and still being told by the those who are afraid of the beast?

I wish I weren't typing this seriously but we might be experiencing the end of the American experiment. Canadian officials are starting to plan on how to deal with the massive influx of refugees that will be flooding their borders from the US.  I wish this wasn't so real but it is. The odds are less than 50/50 at this point

I'm tired of saying this, but can you imagine if Antifa stormed the House, and police died, and a year later they had a moment of silence to honor those police and almost no Democrats bothered to show up.

for over 30 yrs, both of my now deceased grandmothers worked at a local state school for the severely mentally retarded (I know that's not nice or correct, but 50 yrs ago this is how the adults who resided there were referred to), and I mean severe; not one adult who resided there could possibly take care of themselves on any level for any amount of time. It was incredibly humbling as a child and teenager to take lunch to my grandmas occasionally and experience only a veneer of what they dealt with daily just to earn a very basic living. Neither grandmother spoke much about their daily  work, but one of the things I remember both grandmas talking about once was the constant smearing of feces on everything, and the resulting daily cleaning of it.
