Bill the drummer

Forums:

What are the odds that Billy has any visibility during the 60th anniversary shows?  Perhaps a sit in during drums or a video tribute or maybe completely ignored?

His departure from DeadCo didn't appear to be all that amicable, so I might not be surprised if he's not in attendance.  On the other hand, not recognizing one of the two surviving original members seems equally as hard to imagine.

I hope he gets his props, one way or another.

As much as I like to see Billy come back out even for one song I don't see it happening ever again.  Billy gets my praise almost daily, love that guy

I doubt it but I could see third show drums>NFA if it does.

the theater showing of the third night makes me think they might preplan a return

Having him come out for the third show/movie night would be pretty cool.

Better yet, if Billy Strings has his version of Billy and the Kids and return the favor to Kreutzmann

The idea is nice, but seeing how he was fired (because he couldn't play anymore) and likely has hard feelings about that he's probably not willing to just roll out for a sit-in and a wave.

Then again, it always sounded like Billy loved a payday as much or more than any of the others, so if the price is right maybe he would.

But I'm betting a nickel he won't.
