Billy Strings interview w/ Theodore Von - 2/16/24

Forums:

2hrs, 7 minutes

Excellent !!!  Lighthearted, but very candid,  February 16th interview. Much on his family and friends growing up, and his past hard drug use.   Listened to it this morning and 2 hrs flew by.

I was looking at past Billy threads to tail this on, but decided it needed its own thread.  Enjoy :)

>>>Billy Strings joins Theo on this episode of This Past Weekend to chat about his life in music, growing up in a tough environment in Michigan,

bad trips, the time he played guitar for 48 hrs straight, tweakers mining for gold, and how Bluegrass can save the world.

Cool

what Billy has to deal with now is....

If you think gd was absolutely crushed by people on lot who didn't give a shit about fuck

try climbing out from your keyboard and do some Billy tour, or don't, so we can keep on laughing

Thanks for posting the interview, Joe! heart

You're welcome, Dise :)  Feels like it's a lot more about William Apostle than Billy Strings. Much i don't know. Plus, he shines through his candor, humility and a great sense of humor.

Thanks for the stream.  Was able to listen to it at work.  Some funny stories in there.  Tweakers panning for gold was a good one so was the one about his dad being asked "who are you wearing" while on the red carpet at the Grammys.
