Saw my first shoe on Friday. More traditional bluegrass/rockish in the first set. Absolute face melter of a second set. Pleasantly surprised.

Curious as to how your sets played out. A friend went Sunday said it was more like the first set and bluegrassy.
Eastern is interesting. Still getting used to the place. Has some nice nooks and crannies. Courtyard is the bomb

felt the 1st set was more "out there", Thunder>A.Y.B.C.S> Thunder most notably. 2nd set more traditional.
All nights are up on ReListen. great sounding recordings
1st set: Gone A Long Time, Thunder > And Your Bird Can Sing > Thunder, I Heard That Lonesome Whistle Blow
Thirst Mutilator > Hollow Heart, All Of Tomorrow, Red Daisy, Leaders, Wargasm
set 2: I Washed My Hands In Muddy Water, Home Of The Red Fox > Ole Slewfoot
Lonesome Road, Train Train > Must Be Seven, Love Like Me, Working on A Building
Elderly Woman Behind The Counter, Dust In A Baggie
Encore: Bringing In The Georgia Mail
>>> Eastern is interesting.
love the stadium type seating. lots of room to move. sound was excellent and great sight lines from where we sitting (standing actually).
were seeing Brian Jonestown Massacre there in april or may(?).
possibly Courtney Barnett in late january, if it doesn't sell-out before we decide to pull the trigger.
we'll be at the 40Watt for 3 or 4 days the weekend beforehand for Cracker / James McMurty / Ike Reilly
