This is cool. I saw the Volunteer's at the Right Track several times. I was living out on the Island near Riverhead. A highlight that has stayed with me over the years is a passage of White Rabbit >>>The Eleven. The 11 was definitely a rarity in the live music scene back in the mid 1980's!
nice! I was a regular at the RTI (and the Wetlands) in 89/90 while a freshman at CWP. by '89 the Volunteers were already the Zen Tricksters if I'm not mistaken. so many good memories!
It's very possible I could be at that show as we used to go to the RTI all the time to see them (eventually they became the Zen Tricksters). Super fun times.
