Bluelight School

Forums:

I feel more confident sharing the specification on my new media format here "Mini Movie", and what, why and how we can work out longer films, to contain as close to a full concert as possible.

Although Susan the CEO of YouTube has reached out to me, to help and try and encourage me to detail what I am doing & they will expand the payments in return; 3 months later, it is clear (for now) that because the music I used is so dear and special to of THE greatest artists of-all-time- they are financially well managed - they can't go to sleep at night knowing of ailments and sadness attributed with not just fans of their music, but for both folks like you and me who are and have traveled down that road.

They-Pete, Lucinda. The Alarm, Larry Kirwan, Carlos, The Garcia Estate, Weir, Arlo, **Shelby Lynne**, and the Grateful Dead have donated & still donate so much time, money, and sleep to charity. "Bluelight" is still beholden to that river, for now

Any one that knows me, knows, the shoe fits.

Going to serve breakfast, I'll be back.

In my world, we "bench-mark" software to knows asap, its stability, its speed to process, its accuracy to its task and the about the cast of characters and of the counties they reside even.

Never thought I would using 30 old audio engineering skills with video the same way, after 20 plus years in electronic distribution and IP protection as the owner of Rep. company who's mission from 1998-2002 was to help develop & deploy HDTV to the masses.

I am still "bench marking" all of my software & have just been given upgrades. What I am doing is cutting edge & they are begging for my feedback.

------

Ran out of weed & was in the worst mood of my life Friday into Saturday, so to keep my hands busy & out of all your hair; I made:

Grateful Dead 71 Berkeley Mini Movie,

Doing what I hope to be the final screening right now.

Oh well, back to the drawing board. There's an edit needed; and new video void to fill, that will require the audio I spent so much time on, to be re-over dubbed.

But like a Box of Cracker Jacks, there's always a prize at the end.

Well any ways

Mini Movie:

4-6 Songs (3 with a new HD music video and its audio re mastered to 317kbps or better), 2-3 Live Pro restorations (Chyron & Dave removed) & an careful bit of an interview.

Folks onboard so far:

Warner Brothers

UMG

*Sony

Many more..

If anyone is not familiar with how technologies ARE developed, well let me Viva this up.

Sony trolls technologies so much, they bought out a good percentage of the TAM (total available musicians) & acquired CBS records long ago..

Sony's master plan from long ago was grab ahold of the ® in non physical technology then embed it in a medium that they ® & sell CDs, DVDs etc.

For extra credit, got any good new business plan opportunities for Sony today?

K-Mart sucks...

Didn’t Sony do that with Betamax, and it worked out like shit for them? It was far superior to VHS, but because they wouldn’t share the technology with other manufacturers, it was relegated to a very limited market.

I dig these mini movies, but dude, are you sleeping at all? It’s getting frenetic.

Need more popcorn.

>>>>>They-Pete, Lucinda. The Alarm, Larry Kirwan, Carlos, The Garcia Estate, Weir, Arlo, **Shelby Lynne**, and the Grateful Dead have donated & still donate so much time, money, and sleep to charity

How does one donate sleep to charity?

Sleep institutes?

Got am email 3 months ago from Susan at YouTube that it was time (due to volume) I should go to YouTube "Burn Out Camp" in Mt View (around now)

Can't leave my Dad (& my sister is not someone I can count on ever again) its just me and him.

I would have kicked back, gone to a show at Phil's place, but no....

This just spit out-This Mini ^ will be a short & sweet one only 44 minute long.

>>I dig these mini movies, but dude, are you sleeping at all\

Thanks Brain.

Getting more sleep due to a major learning curve of what can do what, when and how & much room it needs to store, where and how.

You are a very intriguing man Bluelight. Hopefully we can have a beer together one day.

Thanks, really looking forward to sharing a brew with you too Bucky.

Early Show tag & Late Show tags

Sever Rejection can happen right away if it thinks a duplicate video created by me is on its way.

It says "WTF"

By recognizing the video content created and-or- its name being the same; thus in "honor of Bill Graham, is the early late show tags"

The day prior YouTube realizes I'm an Angel & was broadcasting one of Elton John Minis as it was totally rated G.

Well the next one  was going to have Elton's "All the Girls Love Alice" and its complete anarchy and I wanted to keep that rating clear on the upload,.someone wold think it out.

Then it give the artist a heads up, if there will 1 or 2 made from me, in Minis - before or after I'm arrested.

I have all of my sacraments accept the last one, which they feel is not far off.

"I'm Afraid to outside Get Hit by a Peach Truck"

Lots of similarities between Kona and Bluelight

Susan from youtube thought I'd make a great firefighter.

You will be needed at the 29:32 mark of this one.

Good luck.

There was another 7 hour delay, I had to bring in Rocky for 1:30 finale, for another edit.

This is last show Jerry Garcia played his solid body sunburst Gibson Les Paul & Phil Lesh's (who is-show-cased here) last show paying his solid body Gibson Bass

The next show was here in New York in the North Bronx @ Gaelic Park Jerry was sporting a Fender Stratocaster & Phil was playing his solid body.

I knew that going in as he is part of 73 Nassau one.

I could have edited him out, but I work for him. No problem.

He's cameo here is not by mistake, so his digital ® owner knows he's a legit actor.

An HD Music Video prequel 11 minutes long made with back up audio from the beginning of the show starts this off.

The concert seamlessly proceeds this.

Enjoy music fans ~

Who is Larry Carlton?

A Very famous 5-time Grammy Award session guitar player from LA, who's body of work contains 80% off all the key Steely Dan leads & riffs.

Considered by many by not only- being ground-breaking; but the best guitar player in the USA.

Jazz master.

Well you see that band. That is one bad-ass Jazz band.

See the bass player - Well that monster is Travis Carlton; Larry's son.

These guys smoke-pot, play poker on the tour buss, & need to eat.

Fucking salt of the Earth I say ~

Hey Knot, to answer your question, Larry Carlton is basically a studio musician. Plays white guy jazz.

Larry Coryell was the man, though.

Admin where is his wheel chair post & why he's he able to post afterwards? ^

>>Hey Knot, to answer your question, Larry Carlton is basically a studio musician. Plays white guy jazz

You are wrong & uneducated on every facet of jazz & its artists, in a big way.

He stirs good shit though. You just happen to be his daddy-issue du jour. Think of it as a compliment.

Admin please delete this thread or make it so your Ateix can no longer post in it.

Denny hands-down is the man-pound-for-pound^

But after '74, Denny was only on 2 songs an album until he left.

But a founding member in - my eyes of The Dan ~

Carlton does play "white guy jazz", he actually helped invent it, but he is damn good.

And in the '70s & '80s he was predominantly a studio musician, one of the top in the business, and I think there was a period where he didn't play at all after he was shot in the neck and almost died, but that was a long time ago and he tours regularly these days.

Personally his stuff is a bit too soft for me. If I'm going to see "white guy jazz" live I prefer Lee Ritenour, but Carlton is definitely a great guitar player.

I also think "80% off all the key Steely Dan leads & riffs" is not accurate. Jeff Baxter did just as much or more with SD than Carlton did, as well as other notable hired guns, but Carlton did play on quite a few of their records and the solos on some of their greatest hits were played by him.

God I love Skunk Baxter.

And Bluelight, a little humility now & then would go a long way when dealing with the likes of Ateix.

Just an unsolicited suggestion.

I heard Lee Ritenour just straight up sweats cocaine.

Good pick, Lance.

Gary katz produced all their early and best albums...and recommended the hiring of Denny ^(Dias), and Skunk Baxter....

Their first 5 albums are my  favorites and id put them up against a ton of bands five albums all released in  the 70s etc...(so, no beatles first 5, stones, who etc..thats a completly differant story...;))

>> Jeff Baxter did just as much or more with SD than Carlton did, as well as other notable hired guns, but Carlton did play on quite a few of their records and the solos on some of their greatest hits were played by him.

That's what I thought but, they were paid via purchase, reported taxes & Larry Carlton made a about 2 million year from SD work alone.

>>And Bluelight, a little humility now & then would go a long way when dealing with the likes of Ateix.

ok

when dealing with the likes of Ateix anyone..

Fixed.

You need to take a major step back with me Surfdead

I have run out of patents with you & will retort back to your 'Spell-checks" and insults straight on.

I think Carltons biggest all around album contribution  is on Royal Scam.

Surf was talking to everyone. Chill the fuck out, everyone.

Bluelight knows what I need.

Lol.

Dude, grow a little thicker skin.

I merely posted some advice - no insult.

As did you.

Difference is, you take this shit seriously.

Carry on.

Look at list of studio musicians on Aja...

Carlton

Ritenour

Chuck Rainey, wayne shorter, pete christlieb, tom scott, steve gadd, rick marotta, bernard purdie, joe sample, victor feldman, michael omartian, to name a few...pretty fine list there...not to mention michael mcdonalds vocals (i was, never a big fan of his, especially in steely)......and a host of others..(per usual on a SD work)

>>I think Carltons biggest all around album contribution  is on Royal Scam

He's tracked every song on "Aja" & played his select contributions the other night.

"n/p mr surfdead ^

That looks like a list of musicians on a Steely Dan album.

Any Woody Allen fans in the house?

The next one, this '68 one is the funniest movie I've seen since Sleeper & Bananas. Great start off.

Its audio is over 70% better then prior to when I started.

Its exactly 55 minutes long.

It redefines '68 Dead like 2 from the Vault did from Audio perspective with the CD as the media-medium then

^^ just my two cents , bluelight, as you can see im a big steely (and carlton) fan...royal scam just shows off his work more, to me anyway, as its much more guitar oriented album, as Aja has that real jazz~ keyboard and horns sound...(and a freakin great album..i shoulda said first 6 albums earlier, not first 5...

Cant but a thrill, Countdown, pretzal logic, katy lied, royal scam, aja

Anyway, all is nothing more than my opinion as a fan etc

Some one just asked for the Films I used on the '70 GD Stonybrook. one-

Read Eminent Hipsters the book Fagen wrote and I'm a big fan of the band.  I thought this quote was funny "Tonight, the crowd looked so geriatric I was tempted to start calling out bingo numbers."

1984:

I am still finding ticket stub to shows, I initially recall going to lately, but have the recording here & its atrocious.

1984 sucked for me. Plain & simple. I was working full time & paying for my own education and living alone at 21.

No weed was around & as it turns out; that's the only reason I am painless today.

My jerk friends turned into a bunch beer drinking slobs, who would rather drink a Beer at car-tail gate and miss most of the 1st set of every GD show from 84-95

i have not taken LSD since 1984. I opened up the Door's of Perception so many times, it was as uninteresting as is it is unhealthy.

Went to 4/17/84 & 4/16  a bunch more then a sober-mind wants to remember.

4/16/84 was fun, but there's no food in Crochrester. We left satisfied; but 4/17/84 Niagara Falls sucked. We were to the left of the band in their Super Suite at the center, glass windows let you look in.

They ate and drank link Vikings and the show was late because of it. Jerry came out & put on 30 pounds overnight and did look healthy.

I was very unhappy and very concerned. All these drunk Dead heads thought the show was great....

I created this sound track & am happy enough with it, to make Mini Movie for it.

Any imagery expressed in verbs or adjectives based on these songs may help save time & you'll  be part of its creation & specter ~

Give it a go ~

"Things are getting Stranger, so lets get on with the show"

So a living member (very-trust me) of the Jefferson Airplane's team migrated with us for the PZ, this seems to be dear place for them to be a heart beat away from The Heads with laughs :respect:

& the "big guy" still gets data from here and reached out to me to say thanks Thursday & Saturday night, on line

Then the artists are trying to recruit or get data on the other's musicians / band members & are asking for help in doing so....

I shit you not.

We listened to Music Choice Smooth Jazz again during dinner.

Tonight we were treated to Larry Carlton's Fourplay.

Hope you folks like it Slacks.

Hey,

The '68 link doesn't work. Says taken down/blocked because of PBS material used or something like that.

Bummer

Thanks guys!

It and a bunch of  stuff gets banned in Canada as they have pissed us off.

It plays here & in Calf right now. Your server's head-end is up there'

No problem.  I am puling it down right now for re edit & re publish

100 years old early German footage & I was not too found of it  was my worst imagery effort.

It may be a YT pm getting crafty, they are very cool people ~

Here is the new rev., where 9:10 seconds of-shit-has been replaced with a portion of some new Nebula footage that was shot 10 years ago being used for the next 68 one & I spent the night prior upscaleing 2 hours of to HD.

It either works, or it does not. I will know shortly...

It seems to be wrkng...thanks

Hi Jambone! Thank you so much!

Its private for now-and the only way you can see this, is by getting the link from Viva.

They are on smartphone & can pull up the IP real time now myself.

I was advised by a Google IP security last night to do so and, who tracks everything I do, due to my work with NASA.

Its seen that- 2 people who dislike me here from Viva are even NOT-watching a second of them. They see its from me and boom. "They dislike me"

I got 500 likes yesterday & 1-2 from here. Classic stuff.

The IP officer said with a southern drawl "that site, may be one, that needs re-direction"

She did not mean by leadership....

Every cake you bake.

If you are blocked by viewing Bluelight; I am about to unblock about 50 firms & folks 8/23. Its free & folks like play shit..

Any person by-some-type-name-in America

Any country with no $ or HD road map is on the skids

Its a full month later & every one here (only) failed Bluelight School.

Its sad, some are teachers and are back to school teaching the kids what they have not learned this summer ~

"You folks are about as sharp as a bag of rocks; but you can rest assured the rest of the nation is not that dumb & your brains here are fried beyond repair"

hahaha

TOTY

The Second Semester Bluelight School is underway:

I sent the CEO of Warner Records and their Dave's Picks Staff & the Dead's property manager to Bluelight School 2 weeks ago, to discuss things

You would be very proud to know, they all passed, just by listening to what I was saying.

'No need to go to Linkden, just roll with the punches kids"

Are you out of your fucking mind?

Ressmeyer_2.jpg

I the new 75 one for Lance, you all the West Coast Dead heads that saw the band 82 & prior.

>>Are you out of your fucking mind?

Yes, but I was reaching out & making it very clear, that I will help them for free in-any way what-so-ever, but never ever hop a plane for them for any amount of $.

They passed the Bluelight Tests!

They are safe, you can see, that I seem to be the only one that can do this and am also the only one that is licensed to do so with music and onto movies or visa versa at Youtube & it would take a massive time & effort for someone to gain the gateway I have earned.

I am driving and they are in the back seat.

I know what I am doing, I am trying to help them out as them to me ~

bluelight, would you mind posting a selfie?

In an HD format that can’t be viewed outside of Long Island which I assume is like Hudson Valley by the sea.

just by skimming I can see this thread seems overly ripe with genx metrosexuals and millenial hipster dbmb heros along with dorky retired oceanographers feeling their oats.

stellar scene percolating on viva recently.

>>Are you out of your fucking mind?

Yes, but

Lets all keep this in mind

>>bluelight, would you mind posting a selfie?

I am much better looking then you could imagine- but please don't..

I won best looking 4 years in a row - 9th, 10th, 11th & 12th grades

Best dressed too ~

Good enough looking to captivate & embrace just as I enter a room still

I am as fit as I have ever been & I was the 2nd ranked wrestler in my weight class in New York State from 76-79.

And modest as well.

Malkovich?

BeingJohnMalkovich_0.jpg

>>And modest as well.

"Modest" is common retort for someone with low self esteem..

I am honest Catholic boy; & if i was not good looking, I would let you know that as well.

Not proud, just honest ~

Too cute for a selfie. I get it. It would break the camera.

Forgive me if this has been covered...

So going forward all those fantastic grainy GD concert videos will be replaced by mini movies?
