Bob Dylan - East Rutherford 11/13/1999 with Phil

Forums:

Awesome show I saw. Phil and Bob were on. Only show I saw on that tour. Saw them next year on summer tour at Waterloo Village.  Dylan opened and Phil closed. People left in droves during Phil.

It was a sparkly night I recall.

I wuz there, too.....  saw 3-4 shows that tour is I recall

Fun to watch ....

Thank you, Doctor

I saw New Haven Cornell and Worcester that year. What a time... found the Phil zone then too!!

-this is the show that also led me to the Philzone. I did not know Phil and band were a thing until I found this show and had a friend download it and burn it on CD for me. The opening Get Together sucked me in. What a build up of power in the opening of that song and then Phil opened the singing, I was fully in at that moment. It's back and breathing again

Saw the Augusta, ME show, I think it was 11/11. I also went to the final show in Amherst, 11/18.
Looking for setlists after is what led me to the original Philzone!
Not sure how long after that I discovered the Other Stuff folder.

Cool, thanks doolittle!
I did not recall that I saw Bob play Highlands in Amherst!
Man, that was a great period to see Dylan as well. What a sweet idea for a tour.

Good show. Phil had a 4 piece band after Steve walked out on the tour. Derek Trucks stepped in and did an amazing job, on very short notice. Dylan played a wonderful set also. I was about 5 rows back from the stage. As soon as Dylan started playing Visions of Johanna, the guy standing next to me, someone I did not know, asked me if we were in Heaven. Not quite, but it was definitely a really good night to be in NJ.

I totally forgot David Kemper was on drums for this one, very cool to revisit this set. Great night all around.
