Bob Dylan recorded his Nobel Lecture in Literature

Forums:

On 4 June 2017 Bob Dylan recorded his Nobel Lecture in Los Angeles, California. Listen to the audio and read the lecture at NobelPrize.org.

Bob Dylan was awarded the 2016 Nobel Prize in Literature "for having created new poetic expressions within the great American song tradition”.

I just listened to Bob read his Nobel lecture, it's powerful imagery. He chose to connect three great literary masterpieces with music, song, poetry, and life.

Get into a quiet space, turn down the lights, and LISTEN to this.

That is some crazy fn shit! I wonder if he knows hes bob dylan.

His best rap in years!

I loved it, very moving. I think everyone should read those books. Long live BD

Thanks for the link. I'll have to listen later.

Not sure if I should smile or frown with the reports that Dylan may have lifted portions of his lecture from Spark Notes on Moby Dick.
