The 4 shows with a full band is cool at the 2600 person Broward center, The 2 nights at the 1200 person Parker is were its going to happen. Both are good venues but the Parker is fun fun fun

You seem confident Tim, you would too if your Sister In Law works for the venues for 30+ years.
i worked for a decade in both venues in the 90's and the Parker is a trip... the spotlight / lighting / audio booth is haunted by a spirit that is curious about the technology...so many stories about zeroing out the board after a show and coming in the next day to have the last shows setting restored ( ANALOGUE desk btw ) and an occasional cold presence in the booth, spot lights turning on during load in when no ones up there....
Probably in for at least 2. NYE (last year was a great time) and the first Parker. Wish it was the Wolfpack at the Parker though. That place is A1. Great Venue. Wish he was doing the Trio at the Lyric in Stuart. That 500 seat theater is perfect for that lineup.
just an interjection here to set the record straight on the "official" name and pronunciation of Weir's band that will be playing on the 4 nights culminating in NYE...
this info is from a radio interview with Barry Sless which took place nearly a year ago, in late December 2023... according to statements by Barry, the correct terminology is Bobby Weir & Wolf Bros (without "the," and Bros instead of Brothers)... you can listen to Barry's brief commentary about this at the beginning of the interview from time-stamp -79:09 to -77:12 ... the entire interview is very good and quite informative and lasts nearly an hour, ending at about time-stamp -21.42 https://kboo.fm/media/119385-sless-more-grateful-dead-and-friends
The only fault I have with this lineup is that they chain Barry to the pedal steel. Would like to see a couple of numbers with him on regular guitar. But I guess that might take away from Bobby's focal point.
So when I signed up for pre-sale there was an option to let the "system" select tickets for me before they went on sale. Nothing guaranteed. I've never seen that before and tried it for shits and giggles. Sure enough at 9:45AM this morning before they went on sale I received confirmation that I bought 2 tickets for the show and section of my choice - how about that!!!
