Many Zoner's may or may not have known this about my boy Lucas McCain:

Kevin Joseph Aloysius "Chuck" Connors (April 10, 1921 – November 10, 1992) was an American actor, writer, and professional basketball and baseball player. He is one of only 13 athletes in the history of American professional sports to have played both Major League Baseball (Brooklyn Dodgers 1949, Chicago Cubs, 1951) and in the National Basketball Association (Boston Celtics 1947–48). With a 40-year film and television career, he is best known for his five-year role as Lucas McCain in the highly rated ABC series The Rifleman (1958–63).

I mean, we come here to learn, right!?! I bet Chuck had a lot of chicks...

Scorned as the who ran.

What do you do when you're branded,

and you know your a man?

Who could forget ?

On right after Wonderful World Of Disney.

Buddy of mine is branded, he's a Que Dog, uses his brands like a networking tool. Let's other Ques know he's a brother.

You can tell we're the same age, Mark.  ;-)

And Johnny Crawford, the kid who played his kid, went to Hollywood High the year I did. His locker was across the hall from mine and he actually wore a buckskin jacket with fringe.

I read some comments from Chuck regarding Johnny Crawford- seems he was a great kid and a real gentlemen, Judit. They had interviewed about 25 kids, and as soon as Connors saw him, pre-interview, he said "that's the Rifleman's son".

I just report this stuff...

I remember Chuck Connors in Rifleman, but I missed this one somehow. I must've been watching F Troop instead.

Johnny Crawford died yesterday. Viva, ahead of the news...

RIP , Pa's son.

That's crazy, Judit.

I had forgotten he was (briefly) one of the original "Mouseketeer's". RIP.
