I was at a show in Palo Alto last night, the Hunter/Amendola Duo, with about 45 other folks in a medium sized rec room.
For the most part I was able to keep a distance from the other people in the room, but you just never know.
It's a drag, but how long can we hide?
BTW, it was a REALLY good show. I'm not always a big Charlie Hunter fan; as talented as he is, I often find him to be a bit of a gimmick showoff, but last night they really grooved together, Scott Amendola was great as usual and it was a fine time.
Covid running rampet in my parts these days, a good friend got it last week, still feeling like shit but not hospitalized. Omicron now here in Ct. Thinking of blowing off my cousins burial today (not covid related). On 2nd thought I'll do the graveside thing but not the after get together at a local restaurant.
