SPLC:

A generous, longtime supporter has decided to auction a cherished item from American music history to benefit our work fighting hate and extremism.

During an auction at Brooklyn Bowl in New York City on May 31, we'll receive the proceeds from the sale of Jerry Garcia's legendary guitar – nicknamed "Wolf." It's the very instrument he used in countless Grateful Dead performances and treasured recordings during his fabled career. Its owner has had the guitar for 15 years and believes now is the time "for Wolf to do some good."

"If ever we needed the SPLC, we sure do need them now," he said.

This supporter has chosen to remain anonymous, and we respect his decision. But we'd love to hear from you during this special moment in history!

Let us know you’re standing strong with us against hate during this critical time by sending us a photo wearing a special, limited-edition SPLC-Wolf T-shirt, which we're making available online for only the cost of production.

We're so proud to have the support of each and every one of you.

Since the election, many people have taken their support to the next level. We've been overwhelmed by how many of you have chosen to become monthly donors, or increased your financial commitment to our work...
