{Dancing in the Dragons Jaw}

Enjoy the show.  I saw him in January with a small backing band and it was great.    Let us know how it goes.

Going to Australia for a show?

Way overdue to see Cockburn again.

As in decades.

One day fit and one day fat
One day flush and one day flat
Reality distorted like a sat-on hat
One day I feel like I'm in control
The next I'm suspended in a bottomless hole
A drunk trying to shinny up a greased pole
Oo-ee all the sights I've seen
In the depth of the world and the heart of a dream
Oo-ee all the places I've been
Each one reflected in the states I'm in, uh huh
States I'm in

He bugs me

71 years old.

He played solo for 2.5 hours and a 20 min. intermission.

You can tell his back is fucked up and the title of his latest album is bone on bone eluding to lack of cartilage.

3 guitars and a mandolin and a set of wind chimes. The acoustic steel being the best. Very good player and extremely strong voice. Sold out with 230 people.

Only problem was 4 times between songs he would babble politics or religion or some other shit for 3 to 5 minuets each.

I don't like that shit. Shut up and fuckin play.

Nice review.

I've never seen Bruce C, but want to.

Seen Bruce acoustic many times, including being backed by Crosby Stills & Nash in Montreal in 1988 at a benefit show.

He keeps mostly to post '79 material, but you never know what he can throw in.

I know a guy who knows a guy who lived beneath him in Toronto. Said when he's not on tour, Bruce practices 8 hours a day. Definitely shows - the guy's a virtuoso.

saw him at a folk fest a few yrs ago. he headlined over richard thompson.

Either one of them doing a set of the other's tunes would be pretty, pretty cool.

I was fortunate to have had the chance to Interview Bruce Cockburn a few years ago:
