Molo came with Hornsby to Further Fest 98 to join the Other Ones and hasn't looked back since. That was the first time I saw Molo, and I definitely noticed him even though I had no idea who he was at the time.

This was big deal for Jerry Garcia musically, that got mired in in the multiple releases from both artists at the time.

My fist Molo experience was
My fist Molo experience was off night on Europe 90 Tour when Bruce Hornsby and The Range played The Paradiso in Amsterdam. A few of us were convinced that was going to be a stealth Grateful Dead show in Amsterdam, or at the very least Jerry playing w Bruce. That did not happen but the show was great anyway and 8 years later I was very happy to see Molo in TOO w Kimock & Karan

Saw BH/The Range twice just before BH joined the GD. Seemed to be an early-in-the-set fixture.
Never saw or heard it referred to after that.
My first show had sit-ins by David Mansfield, Shawn Colvin and Branford.
Damn. I miss shows on The Pier.
