We decided at the last minute to drive from Portland for the Eugene show, and so glad we did. Hung out with the lovely Judit and Surfdead.
Loved the vibe at the show, lots of room for dancing big, as I like to say.
Here's my only good shot from Eugene...they had a wonderful slide and light show of local festers and pranksters.
From the 2nd shot on, those are all from Portland's Star Theater, where CK opened for our local Garcia Birthday Band. Barry and Rob guested w/ GBB too.
I like the Star Theater - good acoustics, indoor and outdoor areas... a little too crowded to dance big, though.
All in all a great weekend, did some napping today, to be sure.

Thanks for the photos !!
Never been to the Star, formerly the Princess. Read that it's been a strip joint and an XXX theater in the past, and Gus Van Sant owned it for a little while.
Been to the Pizza venue. It's a nice little space.

Can you compare how the music
Can you compare how the music was played in Eugene and Portland? It sounds like it was well worth going on Saturday.
It was good to meet you and hang out, too.
