It's not simple, but it can be done. They just have everyone go a block or two away to get their ride, and it's not that easy to drive in after a show so it takes some time, but it can be done.
Just ask the staff at the gates how they work it and they'll give you the details.
Ultimately it might just work better to walk down to the movie theaters and pick up your ride there. It's not a hard walk and the weather should be nice.
if you're into taking a walk after you see a show (as I am), I recommend hoofing it over to the In&Out near 101, eating with fellow concert enthusiast, then catching uber from there.
I wonder what the longest distance Uber ride was? I kind of recall some baseball players missing a flight and taking an Uber road trip, but it might have just been a regular cab.
A co-worker of mine was chased by Shoreline security after vandalizing (tearing down) a 'maximum cooler size allowed' sign. They were able to tackle him, but he managed to break free and keep running, jumping fences, tearing his clothes, bleeding, etc.. he eventually stumbled out to the area near some movie theaters where he was able to hail a cab which he took all the way back to Santa Cruz. That's the longest cab ride I've heard about from there.
Anyone know what the statute of limitations is on sign molestation?
A young friend of mine and her friend are looking for a ride after the show tonight back to San Francisco! Email me if you can help em! energywillout at yahoo.com
