The Candyman

Forums:

So now that these allegations have surfaced, will the "Candyman" be fired? Or will the GOP and Donnie go forward and give him a Promotion?

>>..Doctors, physician assistants and nurses alleged Jackson had a pattern of handing out sleeping pills and other medication to help users wake up without taking patient histories. Doctors reported being uncomfortable with his loose prescribing practices, which included dispensing drugs to former White House staff "and, at times, their family members."

His current and former colleagues described multiple instances of Jackson getting drunk on duty. "On at least one occasion, Dr. Jackson could not be reached when needed because he was passed out drunk in his hotel room," the summary says.

Jackson also fostered a hostile workplace, broke into "screaming tantrums," was "vindictive" and became "intolerable" as he climbed the ranks...

Figured this would be a Nugstradumas thread

I figured that Poolboy would be the first to comment. We were both wrong, Timmy.

Can’t win them all.  Haven’t seen you posting for a bit.  Good to see you back.

Thanks, Timmy. I've been very busy studying for the Jr Admin entrance exam.

>>>>Also, do you get offended when people call you Poolboy

No. It's weird that they say boy but not offensive.<<

Just weird. I like weird.

Gonna be interesting to see the Trumpbots defending these actions of the Candyman. But he NEEDED the opiods..

>Drugs he prescribed included Ambien, used for sleep, and Provigil, used to help wake up. Only after the fact would Jackson account for pills or provide paper records to account for shortages, the summary said. In one case, it said, White House medical staff members fell "into a panic" because he had provided a large supply of Percocet to a staffer.

Ronny IS Toast The VA = Later _____LATER

Ronny Jackson really really wants the  VA job Donnie promised him  and now the White House is standing by him, that is after throwing The Candyman under the bus yesterday.

>>Last Updated Apr 25, 2018 3:25 PM EDT

The White House is standing by Dr. Ronny Jackson, President Trump's pick to be the next Veterans Affairs secretary, in the face of  questions about his practice as White House physician. White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders defended Jackson's history, saying he's received "more vetting than most nominees."

"Dr. Jackson has undergone four separate background checks, one that was conducted by the FBI and all of those revealed nothing and came back with a clean recommendation," said Sanders. She said Jackson's background and character were evaluated during three different administrations and at no time were allegations of drinking on the job or overprescribing medication raised.

Ronny will just plead the 5th during his confirmation hearing.

I’m actually going to defend the guy. Working at the White House is a 24/7 job. Sleep cycles get all fucked up and world events really don’t care. So, staffers need something to sleep, and then something to make them alert when they got only 3 hours of Ambien sleep. I bet that every White House physician, from 1914 on, was a “candyman.” It seems to be a prerequisite for the job.

And he got wasted on an overseas trip? Oh no! Is he always on call? So, some poor schmuck was jonesing for Vicodin and he was too drunk. Whatever.

The guy’s a shitty choice for 100 other reasons. These ones are kind of fake news.

When the current admin is going full on just say NO mode and screaming about an Opiod crisis, it's just not his time.

>So, some poor schmuck was jonesing for Vicodin and he was too drunk. Whatever.

That should have gotten him fired. and no, it doesn't get him a promotion.

If this prevents him from getting the VA job, great. Likewise, I'd rather Mueller have the goods on collusion but if Stormy brings Donnie down, that's fine by me.

This^^

F him for that 239 lbs BS alone.

Have any of these stories been verified? I don’t see the name of one source. So, one person thought he prescribed too many Vics? That means little.

Not just one person. Numerous accounts..a pattern of abuse.

>..A document circulated by Sen. Jon Tester (D-Mont.) summarized allegations from 23 current and former colleagues, including that Jackson “got drunk and wrecked a government vehicle” at a Secret Service going-away party...

..White House press secretary Sarah Sanders opened Wednesday’s briefing by noting that Saturday is national prescription take-back day, during which medical professionals and emergency responders accept unused drugs. “Disposing of unused pills can prevent the misuse of commonly prescribed opioids,” she said...

Meh, the bigger issue is that he isn’t qualified.

Absolutely, Brian. However everyone Trump has appointed is unqualified and the GOP support them nonetheless. So, his Candyman behavior and drunkenness is enough to prevent his promotion, then giddyup.

Trump was voted in to turn everything on its head. His nominations have actually been very qualified to do that. Look at EPA and Education. Their highest qualification is contempt for the departments that they run. Fucked up, but true. The Good Doc is a perfect, yet completely wrong, nomination.

The Candyman would make for a better unqualified qualified Surgeon General. Candyman Jackson working on the opioid crisis is just more fitting.

Obama praised him

Wasn't there a good Candyman played at Hampton, 87 or 88? just sayin

Candyman is out.

Now it's Pruitt's time in the barrel.

Fuckers got to go!

Technically he's not out..he's still has a cushy government job. But yeah, he didn't deserve the promotion that Donnie promised him and was in no way qualified to run the V.A. Donnie said his  next nominee will be "somebody great" with  "political capability".  Chris Christie has been kissing Donnie's ass of late.

>>WASHINGTON (AP) — White House doctor Ronny Jackson withdrew from consideration as Veterans Affairs secretary on Thursday, saying "false allegations" against him have become a distraction.

In a statement the White House issued from Jackson, he said he "did not expect to have to dignify baseless and anonymous attacks on my character and integrity."

Shortly after Jackson dropped out, President Donald Trump called into the Fox & Friends morning show to praise Jackson as an "incredible man" who "runs a fantastic operation."

Trump said Jackson had a "beautiful record" and that there was no proof of the allegations. Added Trump, "I think Jon Tester has a big price to pay." The president declined to say who he may nominate next.

Asked whether Jackson will remain on the job as White House doctor, press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said, "Admiral Jackson is a doctor in the United States Navy assigned to the White House and is here at work today."

Jackson faced a series of accusations about his workplace conduct. The latest blow to his nomination to lead the government's second-largest Cabinet agency came Wednesday with a set of accusations compiled by Democratic staff on the committee considering his nomination.

Based on conversations with 23 of Jackson's current and former colleagues at the White House Medical Unit, the summary said Jackson exhibited a pattern of recklessly prescribing drugs and drunken behavior, including crashing a government vehicle while intoxicated and doling out such a large supply of a prescription opioid that staffers panicked because they thought the drugs were missing.

In just a matter of days, the allegations transformed Jackson's reputation as a celebrated doctor attending the president to an embattled nominee accused of drinking on the job and over-prescribing drugs. He was seen pacing back and forth on the White House grounds Wednesday...

I'm glad you both are qualified. Keep it up.

I'm glad poolboy is  qualified to post here too and has even mastered posting images, when words fail him. Jr Admin could use someone like him. I suggest a promotion!

Can you look into the Joy Reid allegations next and confirm for us whether she is or isn't a homophobe?

Absolutely, just as soon as Donnie nominates her to be head of the VA.

The Candyman gave Donnie way too much speed this morning - his call in to Fox and Friend sounded like a Charlie Sheen rant.
