Carnivale - the show

Forums:

There have been a few posts over the years about this show.   It's one that still haunts me in a good way and I'm sad it was never finished.   There seemed to be quite a few people here at one time who were interested.

I found this article, it's old but it talks about the seasons that were never made if you are curious.

That was a gem of a show, one of the first series I truly binge-watched. I barely remember the plot by now, but had cool characters and a moody, dark vibe. Highly recommended, even if it just plain stops after 2 seasons.

I had forgotten much of it too but the article brings it back.   The way he sets it up was the next season would be five years after season two - in time.   He's tried to write books to wrap it up but HBO holds the cards.   It's really sad that it may be an untold story especially considering the person with the ideas is dying to tell them.    Sounds like he had a deal with Marvel lined up for a graphic novel.   I'd be fine with that.

Best HBO series.  I can write a series of books on why this show should have finished.

Write to HBO.   They need to hear it.   I feel the same way Jonas.
