I almost always look for cheese plate when I dine out.
What do you like? Got any recommendations?

Fromage, so good.

Man you kiss a lot of Vermont ass, don't you?

I don't go for factory farmed animal products, but one of my partner's co-workers has a small sustainable goat farm outside of Estacada and they produce small batches of various types of cheese.   Because they are just getting started, we get to take home batches for free to try them and give feedback.  So far so good, and if you are in the area, you can get in on the "beta test" too:

Also picked up some great goat cheese from a backyard farm tucked up in the Oakland Hills this past summer while visiting friends in East Bay.

Hey Mark. Im into Cheese.  And I like Vermont! I have been to every state (mainland) and enjoy most of them.

I specifically started a new thread so you wouldn't ruin it like you always do. Cant you keep your boyish swordfights to a minimum?

Contribute or maybe just shut up for once. Do you like any cheese?

Ken, The link above is to a cheese from a sustainable agriculture educational farm. Its really good. They treat their cows and sheep with love (only 450) and you can taste the difference. Give it a try!  Im going to be in Portland this summer.  Is getfoola nearby? If so, I'll look to grab a slab. thanks

Do any GD songs mention cheese?

Allegedly, 3/21/73, Wave That Flag

*Wave the flag, *pop the bag
*Skin the goat, [command?] the coat
Bell the cat, trap the rat
Ball the jack, chew the fat

Shoot the breeze, lose the keys
Pass the cheese, scratch the fleas
Make a sign, connect the lines
Pay your fines, save your dimes

I have to admit that I love just about any cheese, whether it be the pedestrian Kraft American Singles or the haut couture Roquefort Papillon.

Melted or cold or room temperature....

Yummy!

A couple of days ago, my 9-year-old daughter asked me:

Why did the cheese cut the person?

It was a sharp cheddar!  (he-he)

Tonight. Going to sit on deck, look at trees. have some sharp white chedda on water crackers and a drop of Siracha sauce on each. Might sound weird but wash it down with a Founders IPA (or victory Pils) and its a good combo for an hour.  Few nice olives, mmm.  That Grafton sounds real good Judit. So many good choices.

Thanks cheese peeps.
